The Siemens 6FC5103-0AB01-0AA2 is the 19" colour operator panel for SINUMERIK 840C/840CE with 10.4" display, prepared for the FD-E2 floppy disk drive. Problems with 6FC5103-0AB01-0AA2: alarm 2100 or 2101, NCK battery
Alarm 2100 is the warning that the NCU buffer battery is nearly flat, 2101 the message that it is flat. Replace the battery with the control switched on, otherwise machine data, programs and the axis references are lost. Make a complete series start-up backup (NC, PLC, HMI) first.

A dark OP panel with the control running is usually the backlight or the panel's power supply; keys that do not respond are a worn membrane or a loose connection to the MCP/TCU.
